In other words, if it's originally arranged as a duet, make it a duet. But if it's originally sung by Davy Jones, then Cindy, Jan, Marsha, Kelly, Eleanor, Paulina, and Yolanda should not sing it together in unison. Winnie's only has two mics. This is otherwise known as the 'sorority girl' rule. 4) "I'm not drunk enough yet" is a valid excuse for not singing, as long as the situation is remedied real damned fast. 5) Overly-long instrumental breaks (over 8 bars) must be accompanied with some sort of dance ("goofy" preferred) 6) No pussying out on the 'octave up'. If the song goes 'octave up', you gotta make a reasonable attempt. (examples: 'Runaway' by Bon Jovi, the Ike + Tina version of 'Proud Mary') 7) Anyone singing 'Sweet Transvestite' must use other people to fill in the Brad and Janet lines I've got more but any more than that would be a bit snobby, eh?
